Indoor Air Quality & Antimicrobial Treatment

Cleaning removes what’s there. Air quality treatment keeps it from coming back — and handles what a vacuum can’t.

The Problem

Georgia's climate is hard on indoor air

Long humid summers, one of the heaviest pollen seasons in the country, and homes built tight enough to hold everything in. Metro Atlanta is close to a worst case for indoor air quality, and most people spend the overwhelming majority of their time indoors. Mechanical cleaning removes accumulated debris, which is the biggest single improvement available. But humidity-driven microbial growth on coils and duct surfaces needs treatment, not just extraction — and the standard one-inch filter in most homes captures very little of what actually irritates people. We'll tell you plainly which of these is worth your money for your house. Sometimes the answer is just a better filter and a duct cleaning.

Options we offer

Our Process

How we do it

01

Understand the actual problem

Allergies? Smell? Visible growth? Dust? Each points somewhere different, and the fix differs.

02

Clean first

No air quality product substitutes for removing what’s already in the system.

03

Treat surfaces

Benefect Decon 30 applied to the duct interior and coil where appropriate.

04

Improve filtration

The right MERV rating for your system — too high restricts airflow and causes new problems.

05

Recommend only what helps

If a purification system won’t meaningfully help your situation, we’ll say so.

Warning Signs

Common indoor air quality complaints

Allergy symptoms indoors

Worse at home than at work is the telling pattern.

A musty smell

Usually microbial growth on a damp evaporator coil.

Dust that never lets up

Often leaky return-side ductwork pulling in attic and crawlspace air.

Humidity that won't come down

An oversized system that short-cycles never dehumidifies properly.

Someone in the house with asthma

Worth being deliberate about filtration and duct cleanliness.

Recent water damage

Moisture in the system needs addressing quickly.

Reviews

What customers say

“Kasey and team from LServices did a fantastic job with my duct cleaning. They explained what their process was and showed me the pictures of before and after. What a big difference it made. They also cleaned up what little there was to clean. I would recommend them and will definitely be using them again next time.”

“I had my ducts cleaned for the first time by LServices. It was an excellent experience watching the guys clean all 33 ducts, taking every vent apart to clean the ducts. I was impressed with the services and would highly recommend this company.”

“Very fast, knowledgeable, and professional. They cleaned a dryer vent and looked into ducts to see if we needed a duct cleaning. They suggested to wait on duct cleaning for a year or two since things looked good currently in the ducts.”

FAQ

Indoor Air Quality questions

We use Benefect Decon 30 — a botanical disinfectant built on thyme oil rather than quats or bleach, and EPA-registered. It’s applied according to label directions, and we’ll tell you the required re-entry time before we start. If anyone in the house has significant chemical sensitivity, tell us and we’ll discuss whether it’s appropriate at all.
Sometimes. Often a duct cleaning plus a properly-sized media filter does more for less. We’d rather sell you the right thing than the expensive thing.
For most residential systems MERV 8 to 11 is the practical range. Higher ratings capture more but restrict airflow, and a system straining against a filter it can’t pull through creates its own problems. It depends on your equipment.
It removes accumulated allergens from the system, which helps — particularly if there’s visible buildup. It won’t eliminate allergies. Anyone promising that is overselling.
Usually. It’s most often growth on the evaporator coil or in the condensate pan, both of which we can clean and treat.
Yes. We’ll assess whether one makes sense for your situation before recommending it.
