The Problem

Lint is fuel, and your dryer is the ignition source

The U.S. Fire Administration attributes roughly 2,900 residential fires a year to clothes dryers, and failure to clean them is the leading cause. Lint is extremely flammable, and it accumulates in the one place you can't see: the duct run between the dryer and the outside wall.

In a lot of Atlanta homes that run is long — up through a wall, across an attic, out through the roof. The longer and more angled the run, the faster it packs. Second-floor laundry rooms are the worst offenders.

Beyond fire risk, a blocked vent makes your dryer work far harder than it should. Two and three cycles to dry one load, a hot laundry room, and a dryer that dies years early.

What's included

What our dryer vent service includes

Our Process

How we do it

01

Inspect and assess

We check the full run, the termination point and the transition hose before touching anything.

02

Pull and disconnect

The dryer comes out, the hose comes off, and we protect the floor and wall.

03

Brush the full line

A rotary brush on flexible rods runs the entire length — through elbows and vertical sections — while the vacuum extracts.

04

Clear the exterior hood

Most blockages sit at the outside vent. We clear it and make sure the damper opens freely.

05

Test and reconnect

Airflow tested, dryer reconnected and pushed back, area cleaned. Photos sent before we leave.

Warning Signs

Signs your dryer vent is clogged

Clothes take more than one cycle

The single most reliable warning sign.

The dryer or laundry is hot to the touch

Heat that can’t escape through the vent stays in the machine.

A burning smell

Stop using the dryer and call. This one is urgent.

Lint around the door seal

Airflow is backing up rather than exiting.

No airflow at the outside vent

Put your hand near the exterior hood while it runs. You should feel strong air.

It's been over a year

Annual is the standard. Every six months for large households.

What customers say

“Kasey and team from LServices did a fantastic job with my duct cleaning. They explained what their process was and showed me the pictures of before and after. What a big difference it made. They also cleaned up what little there was to clean. I would recommend them and will definitely be using them again next time.”

“I had my ducts cleaned for the first time by LServices. It was an excellent experience watching the guys clean all 33 ducts, taking every vent apart to clean the ducts. I was impressed with the services and would highly recommend this company.”

“Very fast, knowledgeable, and professional. They cleaned a dryer vent and looked into ducts to see if we needed a duct cleaning. They suggested to wait on duct cleaning for a year or two since things looked good currently in the ducts.”

FAQ

Dryer Vent Cleaning questions

Once a year for a typical household. Every six months if you do more than five loads a week, have a long or roof-terminated vent run, or own pets that shed heavily.
Most dryer vents take 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the length of the run and how badly it’s packed.
The store-bought kits handle the first few feet, which is not usually where the blockage is. The packed section is normally at the elbows or the exterior hood. We also vacuum at the source so the lint ends up in our machine rather than in your laundry room.
Yes. Those are the runs that need it most, and they’re common in Metro Atlanta.
Yes. If we find crushed foil or plastic hose — both fire hazards — we’ll replace it with rigid or semi-rigid metal.
