The Problem

When cleaning isn't the answer

We find it regularly: a flex duct crushed under attic storage, a run that disconnected from the boot years ago and has been dumping conditioned air into the crawlspace, insulation sleeve torn open, or interior liner so degraded that cleaning would just shed more material into the airstream. In those cases cleaning is the wrong service and we'll say so. Paying to clean a duct that's leaking 30% of its air into an attic is money spent on the wrong problem. We repair what's repairable and replace what isn't — properly sized, properly sealed, properly supported. In a lot of Atlanta homes this is the single biggest available improvement in comfort and energy cost.

Warning Signs

Signs your ductwork needs work

A room that never gets air

Often a disconnected or crushed run above the ceiling.

Energy bills climbing

Leaking ducts condition your attic instead of your house.

Visible duct damage

Sagging, torn or disconnected runs visible in the attic or crawlspace.

Mold on or in the ductwork

Degraded liner holding moisture usually needs replacement, not cleaning.

Ductwork over 15-20 years old

Flex duct has a service life and Atlanta attics are hard on it.

Excessive dust despite cleaning

Leaks pull attic and crawlspace air directly into your supply.

What customers say

“Kasey and team from LServices did a fantastic job with my duct cleaning. They explained what their process was and showed me the pictures of before and after. What a big difference it made. They also cleaned up what little there was to clean. I would recommend them and will definitely be using them again next time.”

“I had my ducts cleaned for the first time by LServices. It was an excellent experience watching the guys clean all 33 ducts, taking every vent apart to clean the ducts. I was impressed with the services and would highly recommend this company.”

“Very fast, knowledgeable, and professional. They cleaned a dryer vent and looked into ducts to see if we needed a duct cleaning. They suggested to wait on duct cleaning for a year or two since things looked good currently in the ducts.”

FAQ

Duct Repair & Replacement questions

We inspect and show you photos. If the duct holds its shape, the liner is intact and it’s just dirty, cleaning is the right call. If it’s crushed, torn or degraded, replacement is.
No, and our reviews back that up — we’ve told customers to wait a year or two on cleaning when the ducts looked fine. Recommending work you don’t need is how duct companies get their reputation.
A single-system home is usually one to two days. Larger or multi-system homes take longer. We’ll give you a realistic window in the quote.
Mastic. Standard duct tape fails within a few years in an Atlanta attic — the heat cycles it right off.
Often yes, and it’s frequently a simple disconnected run. That’s a cheap fix with a big comfort payoff.
Yes. Crawlspace ductwork takes moisture damage and is one of the more common replacements we do.
